Job Description:Graduate / Post Graduate with 2 – 5 years of experience in sales preferably in retail industry. Candidate with diploma in Retail Management will be preferred.
- Monitor the upkeep of merchandise of the respective category
- Divide categories between the Sr. CSEs/CSEs
- Assign targets to the Sr. CSEs / CSEs
- Offer help to the customers and coordinate with the team to close the sale
- Communicate the on-going schemes to customers
- To ensure sufficient merchandise availability of stock in the assigned section Proper
- To assist the unit marketing manager in the Window VM, section display and merchandise at the store is as per the VM guidelines.
- Meet the assigned targets for the category
- Maximize sales of the category by cross and up – selling the assigned category
- Maintain, replenish the visual merchandising plan
- Help the Sr. CSE/ CSEs in difficult sales situations
- Monitor stock levels of the assigned category in coordination with the Sr.CSE/CSE and send the daily stock report to the Assistant Store Manger
- Monitor the maintenance of the assigned floor area
- Loss prevention and shrinkage control

Job Description:MBA in Retail/NIFT degree or Retail Management/diploma in Fashion Merchandising / Garment Manufacturing/ with 4-5 years post qualification experience in buying and merchandising role with a reputed retail organization, preferably lifestyle retail; at least 2 years experience in senior management role in buying function
- Coordinate with the category head to develop new partnerships
- Add new categories to the business as per market trends and forecasts
- Coordinate with the design team for development of in-house brands
- Vendor sourcing and relationship management and regular vendor performance evaluation
- Manage the buying of the respective category according to the plan and budget allocated
- Coordinate with the respective Senior Merchandiser for the category for the product selection and assortment planning
- Obtains competitive price quotes; negotiates procurement details with vendors; provides and coordinates product and service trial periods or demonstrations as required; recommends the most appropriate and cost effective alternatives
- Resolves conflicts concerning materials or services at the department and vendor levels
- Reviews, evaluates, and monitors department purchase requisitions for proper authorization, specifications, and legal compliance; takes responsibility for procuring appropriate items
- To accurately phase sales, stock, margin, markdown and intake plans and projections for the brands.
- Maintaining a balanced product mix at all times through timely phasing (phase in – phase out).
- Ensuring the availability of right stocks at right time at right price
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
- Uses information from interviews, site visits, seminars, trade shows, Internet, commercial and technical publications, and other contacts to develop and maintain an effective vendor base to procure various services, materials, and supplies
- Train, develop and empower team members so that they are well equipped to fulfill current expectations and meet emerging challenges

- Industry wise product analysis, analyzing past product performance, regularly track competitors’ activities and consumer’s needs and buying pattern
- Manage conflicts within and outside the team and function
- Forecasting and planning for the product requirement (quantity, quality, size, color, location and time)
- Coordinate with the buying and dispatch teams for timely delivery of merchandise to the stores
- Monitor merchandise movement at the stores and ensure re-order levels for the category are met
- Prepare required reports to monitor the merchandise performance and movement
- Range planning and product mix for the category
